Professional Carpet Services

-This is totally up to your discretion. All Eagle ProServices employees undergo a background check and drug testing. We have been trusted since 1985, so busy people do not fret. We can do the job, lock up, set your alarm, and even take your dog out. (Yep, we've done that!)

-Yes! Please ensure you are in clean socks to not slip when transferring from carpet to hard flooring. Shoes and bare feet are not recommended.  If you had carpet protection applied, its best to leave it alone totally, but a quick hop across the living room never hurt anything.

- Depending on density, most nylons will dry from 8-12 hours. Berbers will range depending on humidity and thickness but typically are shorter dry times when dry passed correctly (speed dry available upon request). We ask that the air conditioning be on during the summer, no cooler than 68* and no warmer than 76*.  In winter, the heat should be around 65*-70*, and try to have ceiling fans on if applicable to keep air circulating.

-We offer a low-moisture option called encapsulation cleaning which is much better than dry cleaning. Wet and dry soils are encapsulated through a special solution and are agitated with a particular brush machine that catches these particles once they've hardened. The carpet is left almost dry afterward and feels fluffy and clean. In comparison, dry cleaning cleans the top of the carpet; these spots typically come back as if they were never removed. However, encapsulation cleaning will lift stains encapsulating the dirt to be vacuumed out; yielding better results..

-No.  How we clean the carpets are never soaked.  The hot water aids in the cleaning process and does not exceed 200*; it also aids in drying (warm to hot water will evaporate quicker).  When carpets are soaked, the backings are compromised, and as long as Eagle ProServices or another respectable company cleans your carpets, you can clean them every month if you wish, no worries!

- Shaw and Mowhawk recommend hot water extraction (or steam cleaning) for all of their carpets. This is all your nylons, olefin, stain-resistant carpets, and beyond.  

- Vacuum a day or so before we arrive; 70% of the soils in your carpet are dry. Vacuuming before we arrive and weekly will put YEARS back on your carpet's life!

-Move breakables off end tables and other places. We are more than careful. However, when we move furniture, we will all feel more comfortable if your breakables are in a safe place and out of harm's way.

-Please have a clear path to the entrance you'd like us to enter your home.  Most people pull their car out of the garage or move it to one side of the driveway, opposite the door.  If it's not possible, do not worry! We have plenty of hose and can reach pretty long distances.

-Have any pets safe from us and our equipment.  We are all pet lovers, but it's better if they are safe and put away while we are cleaning & restoring

• Pre-Vacuuming *When you request, we will vacuum your carpets at an additional charge. We usually ask that the carpets be vacuumed before we arrive.
• Pre-Treating: We use a neutralizing rinse and all-natural solution, focusing on traffic areas and stains. This is a non-residue pre-treatment.
• Spot agitation/dwell time
• Moving of furniture: *Beds, entertainment centers, full hutches/dressers, and desks are excluded as they usually pose a liability issue. However, we will move most items carefully, such as sofas, chairs, coffee tables, etc. I just wanted to let you know that at no additional cost.
• Hot water extraction: At this point, we clean behind and beneath furniture and place moved furniture back on either plastic tabs or foam blocks.
• Dry pass: After we pass over the carpet rinsing of dirt, stains, and our pre-treatment solution, we make several dry passes. 
• Carpet Protection: This is optional. Your tech will be able to identify the fiber of your carpets to see if this can be used.
